Position Summary
Alliant University seeks an entrepreneurial VP, Growth & Expansion to design and lead the next generation of partnership-driven growth — connecting Alliant’s mission of building the nation’s licensed workforce with employer, government, and community ecosystems across the country.
This leader will architect a scalable expansion engine: developing regional go-to-market playbooks, employer partnerships, and B2B initiatives that drive measurable enrollment and workforce outcomes. They will blend strategic acumen with operational rigor, serving as a connective force between marketing, enrollment, and academic teams.
Salary Range: $190,000 to 200,000 annualized (exempt position).

Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Strategy
- Lead Alliant’s national and regional growth playbooks workforce and licensure data to identify and activate high-potential markets.
- Partner with the Growth Intelligence team to convert insights into action through TAM/SAM/SOM modeling and market prioritization.
- Own the test-and-learn approach for new regional pilots, refining marketing, partnerships, and operations based on performance data.
Employer & System Partnerships
- Build and manage a national portfolio of partnerships with healthcare systems, school districts, nonprofits, and state agencies.
- Develop employer-funded tuition cohorts, CE bundles, and licensure-prep offerings that embed Alliant into workforce pipelines.
- Negotiate multi-year agreements and co-created programs aligned with licensure and accreditation standards.
Cross-Functional Growth Leadership
- Collaborate with Marketing, Enrollment, and Academic Affairs to integrate B2B pipelines into core enrollment systems.
- Define metrics and dashboards for SLTV, CAC efficiency, and partnership attribution in collaboration with the intelligence & analytics team.
- Establish growth governance and reporting rhythms that link strategy to execution.
Brand & Ecosystem Development
- Represent Alliant in workforce, education, and healthcare forums as a visible ambassador for impact and innovation.
- Partner with Marketing to create partnership case studies, alumni impact stories, and employer success campaigns.
- Champion Alliant’s position as a trusted, licensed-workforce partner to industry and government.
- Secure strategic partnerships for brand-awareness through thought leadership and affiliate programs.
Team & Leadership
- Build and lead a small, agile Growth & Expansion team.
- Foster a culture of speed, learning, and collaboration, empowering cross-functional pods to pilot and scale new initiatives.
- Lead the thoughtful adoption of AI and automation systems across the organization to supercharge teams across business functions.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPP, or Ed.D.) preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of leadership in growth, partnerships, or business development in higher education, healthcare, or workforce development.
- Proven success building employer partnerships and market-expansion strategies that deliver measurable ROI.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams integrating marketing, analytics, and operations.
Skills
- Strategic operator with data fluency and strong executive communication.
- Adept at navigating complex organizations and aligning multiple stakeholders.
- Expert in CRM, pipeline management, and forecasting tools (Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Deep understanding of the education-to-workforce landscape.
- Proficiency in implementing AI and workflow automations to create efficiencies across functions.
Performance Metrics
- Growth in employer-generated enrollments and partnership-sourced revenue.
- Expansion of regional market footprint (Austin and beyond).
- Positive ROI on partnerships (CAC vs. SLTV).
