Project Manager Partnerships

Then, we as AfterPay – the innovative pay after delivery provider – are on the lookout for you for our vacancy: Project Manager Partnerships to further drive our growth story.


As a Project Manager Partnerships you will be responsible for managing projects with the main focus on optimizing services and expanding our product offering towards our key partners.  Your experience within the payment space will help you identify opportunities within the e-commerce market that AfterPay can utilize to improve its partnership strategy.

You will work closely with several departments within AfterPay. You know how to motivate your colleagues around you, and you have a proactive approach in driving your own success!

In this role, you report directly to the Vice President Operations.


Key responsibilities

  • Represent the needs from our partners internally and translate them into tangible features, services, products and processes;
  • Identify friction points and inefficiencies, and design + implement solutions – technical and operational;
  • Manage and coordinate these partner related development/optimization projects internally and make sure they are successfully rolled out to our partners;
  • Collaborate with all AfterPay functions to ensure seamless operational execution;
  • Work closely with the partner management team to coordinate operational projects with the focus to improve our service towards partners and drive growth;
  • Stakeholder management and partner guru. You are the go to person for partner operations related questions;
  • Drive growth for our partners and AfterPay.


Skills and Qualifications

  • You are able to interact with key stakeholders such as: Sales, Implementation Team, Finance, Product Management and other members of the Partner Management Team;
  • You are used to working in an international organization;
  • You have experience in successfully managing development projects and are able to represent the needs of our key partners to internal stakeholders;
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills;
  • You are very structured and able to manage multiple complex situations;
  • Genuine passion for payment services and the fast expanding e-commerce / Fintech market;
  • Independent, result orientated, creative thinking, problem solving and hands-on mentality;
  • Knowledge of e-commerce, platforms and online payment industry with technical understanding of PSP’s and web shop platform integrations;
  • Advanced project management skills, PMI / PRINCE2 project management certification is desirable including Agile and / or Six Sigma;
  • Relevant bachelor/academic degree or proven career history in business or equivalent;
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Additional languages preferred;
  • Advanced computer literacy (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access).
