Your core responsibility is to bring our key clients ‘live’ and to develop our existing partners implementations to the next level, with a focus on the Dutch market.


As an Implementation Manager, you will work closely with AfterPay’s commercial and product teams to support, manage and implement clients onto our platform. For you to succeed in this position, you are used to work in a multilateral organization, balancing external priorities towards internal capabilities and are happy lay a firm hand on projects with defined deadlines. This role requires technical understanding, as well as familiarity to different coding languages and overarching IT architecture.


AfterPay is growing and expanding its innovative pay later solutions in the Netherlands. To further facilitate our growth, we are looking to strengthen our team with a new Implementation Manager, in Amsterdam or Heerenveen. Key responsibilities

  • Project management - identifying, planning & managing - AfterPay implementations for Benelux;
  • Planning and execution of implementation tasks for clients through collaboration with multi-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction;
  • Working with internal development and product teams to deliver new technical specifications of merchant requirements for the platform;
  • Interacting with key stakeholders such as sales, product, and partner management to improve workflows and collaboration models;
  • Continuously identifying opportunities for development and growth of existing key clients.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with technical integrations and/or technical project management;
  • Communication and collaboration skills and mindset: close collaboration with your colleagues from other functions is instrumental in this role;
  • Knowledge about the payment ecosystem, especially payments after delivery;
  • Experience with and a good understanding of RESTful systems, APIs and SQL as a language;
  • Basic understanding about web development and IT architecture;
  • Confidence in providing structured feedback to product & development unit in order to constantly improve our product and processes as well as dealing with our clients;
  • At least bachelor level of working and thinking;
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English; German is a plus.
